Today's song of the day is from 85 from this Norwegian synth pop band's debut album, Hunting High And Low.  They actually did two versions of this song and the second one is the one you would of heard.  The band is a-ha and the song is Take On Me.  The ruzzian orcs should take on put-in and put him in the meat grinder.

Here is  today's The Math Contest question of the day.


I was fast but I listed every permutation (6 for each starting digit).  I knew not to check numbers ending with 4 or 5 for prime but I wrote them out to make sure I did not miss any number.  After saw a faster way but oh well, bubble boy but on the good side of the points today.

It was the first single released off her fifth album, Hounds Of Love.   Today's song is being showed to a whole new generation of listeners because of a Netflix show, Stranger Things.  She was inducted into the Rock and Roll hall of fame in 2023.  The artist is Kate Bush and today's song is Running Up That Hill ( A Deal With God).   The orcs should run up a hill to put put-in in the meat grinder.

Today's song of the day is from 86 from this Queens NY hip hop trio.  It was a cover of 75 rock band and it's cover featured two of  the original artists.  Two of the trio did not want to do the song as they thought the lyrics were hillbilly  gibberish but Jam Master Jay wanted to and their producer Rick Rubins (see Beastie Boys et al.) said to go for it.  They got Steven Tyler and Joe Perry to record their parts.  Okay so you know it was a cover of Aerosmith.  The band was Run DMC and the song was Walk This Way.  Hopefully the orcs walk put-in the way of the meat grinder.
