Today's song of the day is from  93 as the first single of the album Recipe For Hate.  The band is from La-La land Cali.  I used this song like 3 years ago but it still works today.  Eddie Vedder of Pearl Jam does backing vocals on this song.  The song takes on the controversial idea that some people espouse that God favours America.  Recall at the time GW Bush said about the Gulf War, something like we will win because God is on our side.  Idiot.  The song is by Bad Religion and is called American Jesus.  Jesus will not help put-in once he is put in the meatgrinder.
