Trump gave a no-bid contract to his billionaire buddy who does culverts, not pools to fix the Reflecting Pool. After spending $16 million in taxpayer dollars, we have a destroyed pool that looks like shit! 🤬 The pool liner failed in 85 places due to faulty installation. Trump, Jeanine Pirro and Doug Burgum adamantly blamed vandalism for the pool damage saying they arrested 5 individuals, including David Hearn, an ex-Olympian. They claimed someone cut a 300 foot gash in the liner with a box cutter. THESE WERE ALL LIES AND THEY KNEW IT, but kept lying to push their agenda. Pirro finally admitted that it was NOT vandalism but instead faulty installation. David Hearn could have faced up to 10 years in prison. I hope he sues their asses off! Taxpayers should not pay another dime for this renovation! 🤬
