Today's song comes from 1987 from this Minneapolis Minnesota band. It was their debut single off of the album Please To Meet Me. I love Paul Westerburg and with Alex Chilton on guitars this song was gold. Jesus rides beside me, he never buys any smokes. Classic. I saw the band at the U in 84 and had to leave a bit early to take the bus home or I would have had to walk home. The band is The Replacements and the song is Can't Hardly Wait. Just like I can't hardly wait until we kick putin's ass.
