Here is my solution to yesterday's The Math Contest question of the day.


Excel is your friend.  Used the Mod function.  I also used the Conditional Formatting tab and selected Highlight Cell Rules and picked Equal To 2 and made it red so I could find it quick.  I know it is not mathematical but it is quick.  I went and did the Euclidean Algorithm to show you how to do it mathematically.
