Brian Kilrea was for the most part a Junior hockey coach in the OHL for the Ottawa 67's. He played in the NHL for a cup of coffee but ended up in the NHL Hall of Fame as a long time hockey coach. He was assistant coach for the New York Islanders for a couple of years before moving back to the 67's. They Call Me Killer is full of lots of humorous accounts from him and some of his players. I thought it was well written. He tells his account of a story then a couple of his players tell their version. All in all pretty funny. I never heard of him before reading They Call Me Killer and I rather enjoyed it. I read this one in late June, just a couple of books ago.
