Today's Song of the Day should of been yesterday. If you did not hear, this artist got his guitar back after 45 years yesterday in Tokyo. You can read about it here. In honour of this artist I will pick one of his songs. Not the one my wife would pick but it's my pick. The song came out in 1970 by a Canadian rock group and you need to guess who. The B side of the single was No Sugar Tonight. The song was covered by Lenny Kravitz in 99 for the Austin Powers - The Spy Who Shagged Me movie. I've heard the lyrics actually should of been "Canadian women I prefer you" but that is not what happened. Ok that was Burton Cummings. The guitar was that of Randy Bachman. The band was, as I mentioned earlier, The Guess Who. The song was American Women. I have included both The Guess Who and Lenny's video to honour both Canada Day and The 4th.
