Well I am far back in the monthly competition so I tried something different here.  I looked for a pattern if it was 10 to the power 3, 10 to the power 4 and then guessed.  Wrong.  Whilst in the penalty box I solved it exactly.  Oh well.

Today's song is from 96 from an American band from the windy city.  It is the second single off their third album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.  It is a coming of age song reflection on the lead singers nostalgia of being 12 years old in 79.   The band is The Smashing Pumpkins and the song of course is 1979.  I wish put-in was run over in 1979 by a Lada.
