Today's song comes from 1979 from a British Ska/Pop band.  It comes from their  debut album that has the same name as the song.  It was originally written by Prince Buster and they adapted the "Don't watch that, watch this" from one of his other songs.  In teacher's college when I was finished an exam I would run down the hallways yelling out the songs title.  The band is Madness and the song is One Step Beyond.  We all know put-in is one step beyond.  I have included Prince Buster's version first then Madness' version.
