Today's song comes from 85 from a La La band via NJ.  It was the first single off their debut album Cinema Verite (sorry not doing the French accents).  It was also on the Nightmare On Elmstreet 4 soundtrack.  It was written about the lead singers disintegrating marriage.  The band is Dramarama and the song is Anything, Anything (I'll Give You).  I know what I would give put-in and a bleach enema would not be it.
