Today's song of the day is from 1984 from a Scottish band.  It is off a 4AD produced EP called The Spangle Maker.  The video was filmed in a chapel.  The band was named after a Simple Minds song.  The lead singer, Elizabeth Fraser, has a very haunting voice that reminds me somewhat of Kate Bush, at least range wise.  She even says that she was influenced by Kate and also Siouxsie and The Banshees.  She even had a Siouxsie tattoo on her arm.  The band is The Cocteau Twins and the song is Pearly Dewdrops' Drops.  I wish put-in would drop.  Drop dead that is.
