Here is this week's The Math Contest question of the week.

I answered first!.  Then I saw 0 of 1 answered correctly.  Dang.  I missed the part that said "different".  I am now in the box for an hour.  I am on the road to London with Aleksei so I will be 400th or something like that.  Way to start off April.  Will report back later.  Here is what I did.

Today's song of the day is from 79 from this English band.  I will not tell you the name of the album as it will be almost a dead giveaway to the band's name.  They are one of Neil M's favourites maybe even Buccee's too.  The song was written during the recording of the album.  Whilst coming home from the studio he heard of a bombing at a Spanish tourist resort and wrote the song.  The writer was Joe Strummer.  Can't believe Strummer (real name John Graham Mellor) passed just over 21 years ago. Way too young.  Only 50 years old.  RIP.  Yeah now you know the band was The Clash.  The album is London Calling and the song is Spanish Bombs.  We hope a nice car bomb finds put-in. What prompted me to use this song was the first FB post above about the bombing in St. Petersburg.  put-in has to be worried that they took out one of his big internet proponent on his home soil. Anyways, I have given you the lp version with the lyrics for some of you that don't know the words and a live version.
