 Here is today's The Math Contest question of the day.

I taught my grade 10 students how to do questions similar to this.  First there is a mistake in the question.  They meant the positive value as the quadratic you solve has two REAL solutions.  My internet is screwed up and will not be fixed for two weeks so I had this answered in 5 seconds but had to wait minutes to submit my answer.  GRRRRR.  Should of been top 5.

Today's song of the day is from 94 from this Berkley Cali band.  It was a single off their third album, ...And Out Come The Wolves.  The band is a punk ska band.  The band is Rancid and the song is Roots Radical.  Wish put-in's flesh from the meat grinder was left out and was rancid meat for the vultures.
