Today's song is from 88.  The year I graduated uni.  This was merican band's debut album, Shooting Rubber Bands At The Stars.  The song was about the songstress being annoyed at her first year religion course with posers.  It was the first single off the album.  The song is What I Am by Edie Brickell and the New Bohemians.  I would like to see people shoot rubber bullets at put-in while he is buried neck deep in sand in a soccer stadium like they throw rocks at adulters in Iran.
