Here is today's The Math Contest question of the day.

This is so easy.  Just need to some the sequence 3,9,15,...,1107.My problem is that when I solved for n I started the sequence  with a formula that that started at term zero and not term 1 so my n was off by one.  Then the formula for the sum was off by 1107.  Penalty box.  I would of been top 10.  Dang.  Looks like Rollins was in the box too.  He must of done the exact same thing I did.

Today's pic of the day is from May 31 2023 after the championship game.  He was selected as a first team WECSSAA allstar.  Not bad for not playing for four years and the coach wanting to cut him during tryouts.

Today's song of the day is from 85 from this English band.  It comes off their second album, Love.  It is the second single from that album but if I tell you that song then for sure you will know the band.  The lead singer Ian's previous band was a punk/Goth band called The Southern Death Cult.  Ok that should be a big clue.  If not ok the first single on today's album is She Sells Sanctuary.  One last clue.  The band toured in 87 and was the opening band for Billy Idol.  I went to that concert to see the special guests but did not hang around for Billy.    Sorry Billy but I saw you in June 84 and that was enough.  Today's song is by The Cult and the song is Rain.   I had bought a special season pass of concert tickets that was for like 5 or 6 shows that year.  I included a pic of a ticket that was stored with my Cult album.  Hopefully a death cult will rain down bombs on put-in and give him no sanctuary in the meat grinder.
