Today's song is from 83 from this English band's first full length album, Care.  The band was formed by ex-XTC and Gang Of Four members.  Today's song was not on the UK version but was on the US version as track four.  I saw this band a couple of times in D Town for the Care tour and also the Oil And Gold tour.  The band is Shriekback and today's song is My Spine (Is The Bass Line).  I would love to hear the shriek when put-in's spine gets crushed in the meat grinder.
