Today's song is from 87 from this San Antonio Texas band's third album, Locust Abortion Technician. The band was loved by Jello Biafra and opened for The Dead Kennedys at The Whisky A Go Go in La La Cali. The band also opened for Nirvana on part of their Nevermind US Tour. Today's song is a psychedelics twist on Black Sabbath's Sweat Leaf. Back in the day I would call my bestman Gary and if he was not home and I got his answering machine I would recite a line from the song "by the way if you see your mother this weekend tell her .... Satan". I would scream Satan at the top of my lungs. Today's song would have some people at the concerts being dragged off the floor because of the epileptic effects of the light show and the music and probably the acid. lol. Today's band is The Butthole Surfers and the song is Sweat Loaf. It will be nice when put-in's butthole is placed in the meat grinder. Below I give you the studio version and a live vid from 88.
