Here is today's The Math Contest question of the day.

Every math teacher (except Ling) read it as though it was a standard bacteria question, including me and went to the box.  After reading it again I saw the nuance of the question.  Nice question.  I was bubble boy on the correct side for points today for once as I hate being 11th and getting only 7 points.

Today's song is from 08 from this Cali band's 8th album, Rise And Fall, Rage And Grace.  It was the second single off this album.   The first was Hammerhead.  The video features a peasant with a magical golden guitar.  The band is The Offspring and the song is You're Gonna Go Far, Kid.  It would be nice if someone took a hammer to put-in then went far and put him in the meat grinder.
