Today's song is from a band from 78 from the debut album of this UK band that had the lead singer that became big in the 80s.  Yes they were a poseur punk band but I still liked them.   Generation X was a band that had a few good songs and launched Billy Idol's career with his Rebel Yell lp.   After my high school prom in 84 the next night a bunch of us went to that concert.  The song I chose was Youth Youth Youth.  Hopefully Gen X will take put-in to the meat grinder.

Today's song of the day is from 78 from this British band.  Today's song was the 9th track on the US album but not on the UK album.  This album is actually a pretty good album when compared to the lead singers stuff he put out as a solo artist in 82 and 83.  His real name is William Broad.  His first solo album is eponymous and and the second is a dead give away to the artist, Rebel Yell.  Yep Billy Idol but what was his original band?  Yep Generation X.  Today's song is Your Generation.  Hopefully our generation sends put-in into the meat grinder for a black wedding with his eyes without a face.  I hope you get that.  You probably need to be old like me, lol.
