Today's song of the day is from 90 off this Irish artists second album, I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got.  It was the second single released from the album.  Big hint, the artist ripped up a pic of the Pope on SNL.   Ok if you were born under a rock, the first single on the album is Nothing Compares 2 U.  The artist was Sinead O'Connor (RIP) and today's song is The Emperor's New Clothes.  What I have not got is watching put-in in the meatgrinder.

donald tRump is visiting a elementary school and he visits

one of the classes. They are in the middle of a discussion

related to words and their meanings. The teacher asks mr.

tRump if he would like to lead the discussion of the word

"tragedy." So he asks the class for an example of a tragedy.

One little boy stands up and offers, "If my best friend who lives on

a farm, is playing in the field and a runaway tractor comes along

and knocks him dead, that would be a tragedy."

"No," says mr Trump, "that would be an accident."

A little girl raises her hand, "If a school bus carrying 50 children

drove over a cliff, killing everyone inside, that would be a

tragedy."

"I'm afraid not," explains the exalted businessman. "That's what

we would call a great loss."

The room goes silent. No other children volunteer.

mr. tRump searches the room. "Isn't there someone here who can

give me an example of a tragedy?"

Finally at the back of the room, little Johnny raises his hand.

In a quiet voice he says, "If a private jet carrying you was struck

by a missile and blown to smithereens, that would be a tragedy."

"Fantastic!" exclaims mr. tRump, "That's right. And can you tell

me why that would be a tragedy?"

"Well," says the boy, "because it sure as hell wouldn't be a great

loss and it probably wouldn't be an accident either."

 After Meat Loaf's death I thought about another singer that is going through some troubling times.  I called her Skin Head O'bootcamp back in the day  and was not a fan of her music but when she ripped up the pic of the "pope" I respected her as I knew she just gave up her career.  If you don't know who I am talking about it is Sinead O'Connor.  I will give you a Nothing Compares To You as I definitely won't give you Mandinka.
