 Today's song of the day is from 78 from this Boston band's eponymous debut album.  I don't have many of my rock records but I did keep this first pressing.  See pic.  Great album.  Probably not a bad song as I remember.  Lead singer married a model.   RIP Ric.  The band is The Cars and the song is Just What I Needed.  What put-in needs is to be in the meat grinder.

Today's song is from a Boston band from 79 off their second album.  Their eponymous debut album was way better but there were a couple good songs off this second album.  The song is the title track which was not released as a single.  The singles were:  Let's Go, It's All I Can Do and Double Life.  Okay that should help you.  No.  Okay the lead singer died in 2019.  RIP.  His third wife was Paulina Porizkova.  Okay now you know the lead singer was Rik Ocasek. However he was not the lead singer on this track, Benjamin Orr was. The band was the Cars.  The album and song for today are Candy-O.  I hope a car runs over put-in.  I give you the studio version and a live version.

You know I got this.  Was there at the drop but took me some calculations than it should of.  Oh well.

Here is my solution for yesterday.
Only one goal on Tim's last night.  Here are my picks for tonight.

For the Song of the Day I picked a song from the second album of this US and A band which came out in 79.  The album outperformed their first lp but I like the first one better.   The album's cover is an artists rendition of a model on the hood of a Ferrari.  The original lp had two songs before our s.o.t.d. with no gap between songs so as they segued into each other and therefore FM radio stationed tended to play all three songs together.  The usual lead singer did not sing this song .  Benjamin Orr R.I.P. sang the song.  The other songs were Double Life and Shoo Bee Doo.  The s.o.t.d. is the same name as the album.  The songs released as singles on this album were: Let's Go, It's All I Can Do and  Double Life.  The band is The Cars and the song is Candy-O.

Well I thought putin wanted to denatzify Ukraine.  With his initial phase over doesn't look like that happened.  Fuck putin he just knew he could not take all of Ukraine and lost more that 15000 boys.   Now he just wants to secure the Dombass.  BS that is all he might get if he is lucky.  I don't think so now.  This is just his I didn't lose let's save face card.  You know what fuck you.  Thousands of Ukrainian civilians had to die because of you being a piece of shit.  The only person who cares about you is t-rump.  I am sure he loves you more than his wife as she hates him.

 

I am sure putin the limp dick that he is loves this.

putin you have taken little r back to tsarist days.  Your people will have to wait in line for bread now.  Your people had a chance and now you have completely blown it.  Do you know what a noose is?  You will be swinging from one you piece of shit.

Okay here is a song from 78 from a Boston band.  It was from their debut eponymous album and it has to be in my top ten and it is not even a punk band.  It was not even sung by Ric the lead singer but their bassist. It was his only song that he sang.  Electric Angel Rocking Roller I Hear What Your Playing.  His name was Ben Orr.  Have you got it.  No.   Okay it is The Cars and it is Bye Bye Love.
