Today's song comes from 81 from my fav punk band of all time from Frisco Cali.  I used this song back in '22 but the above pic warrants reusing it.  Here is what I wrote back then.  It was released as a single and on the album In God We Trust.  The EP included an arm band with a swastika crossed out.  On the album version the lead singer ( I love his spoken word even more than Henry Rollins of Black Flag) opens with "Overproduced by Martin Hannett take four" even though he did not produce the album but did produce one of my other favourite bands being Joy Division.  Speaking of his spoken word he has an album just of spoken word that is called No More Cocoons.  I have it on vinyl and it is outstanding.  Anyways the band is The Dead Kennedys.  I remember my second year of U wearing a DK concert shirt to class and I was in the elevator and Prof Wigley (RIP) said to me Dead Kennedys that is sacrilegious.  He was my height and 250 pounds and from Cali so it was sacrilegious him being from Cal-Berkley.   I just blew him off.  Next day I walk into my Analysis class and guess who the prof was?  You got it.  I was also late to a class with 10 kids in it.  He said "long hair I am glad you could make it"  Yikes.  The song is Nazi Punks Fuck Off.  putin is a nazi punk and should f@ck off into the meatgrinder.

Today's song of the day is from 82 off this San Fran band's second album, Plastic Surgery Disaster.  Today's song is sometimes considered two songs depending what pressing of the album you have.  The first part is an intro with spoken word by Melissa Webber and on my album it is considered a separate song.  Today's songs are by The Dead Kennedys.  The songs are Advice From Christmas Past / Government Flu.  The best advice is to put put-in in the meat grinder.
