Welcome to the new week.  Today's song of the day comes off the debut album Especially For You by a Merican band from New Jersey  .  The song was the first single off that album.   The song is about a girl that committed suicide that the song writer knew in high school.   The band's name comes from a cartoon character that only people my age will remember.  It was Yosemite Sam.  He used to say "Varmint, I am going to blow you to smithereens."  Okay the band is The Smithereens and the song is Blood and Roses.  The album should of been called Especially For Fuck You putin.
