If I had U2 for New Year's Day and today is Sunday well I am doubling down on U2 with, you guessed it, Sunday Bloody Sunday. This is one of their more political songs that is about the '72 Bloody Sunday killings of unarmed civil rights protesters by British Soldiers in Derry Northern Ireland. This song was on their extremely popular '83 album War.
