Today's song is from 84 from this British band's debut album, Age Of Consent. The video for this song is powerful. A boy leaves home because he is beaten by a bunch of homophobes. His family finds out and is supportive except for his dad. He leaves home and the boy puts out his hand for his dad to shake but the old man won't. He is later on the train where he meets up with friends. The lead singer is Jimmy Sommerville. His other band was the Communards. Okay now you know it is Bronski Beat. The song is Smalltown Boy. It would be great if a smalltown boy put a beat on put-in.
