Here is today's The Math Contest question of the day.

I was fast but screwed up and went into the penalty box.  I was on the right side of the bubble today and not 21st and only getting 6 points.

Today's pic of the day comes from a youtuber I watch, Jacob Starr.  I believe his channel is The Starrlife.  He buys and then resells vintage t shirts.  He sells on What Not mostly.  He showed this great t shirt that I know he won't sell as his brother died of a heroine overdose and he collect heroine t shirts.  If anyone can put me onto a lead of where to find another one I would be extremely grateful.  You have to understand that Sid Vicious (RIP) was from one of my top 5 bands all time and as a track coach you see having disgraced sprinter Ben Johnson on the shirt is just crazy.

Today's song of the day is from 79 off the album, The Great Rock & Roll Swindle.  The song I am picking is being sung by their bass player and is a cover from Eddie Cochrane from 59.    Another hint.  Ok look at today's picture.  No Ben Johnson did not sing the song.

I used to have this picture above my blackboard.  I would not say anything to the students until someone asked.  I then would say a bonus point when someone figures it out.  So this was from 83 or 84 when a girlfriend was going to NYC.  I said can you go to The Hotel Chelsea and take a pic of this special room for me.  When she developed the picture (young kids google what that means) she noticed that on the water pipe at the top of the pic it says Hi Steve.  You can't see it now as it has faded.  Anyways this is the apartment that Sid & Nancy lived in before his heroine overdose.

The song is not "Who Killed Bambi".  The band is The Sex Pistols.  The song is Something Else.  The singer is Sid.
