Today's song is from this Athens Georgia band's self titled debut album from 79. Today's song was the third single off this album. I will tell you one of the other singles, Planet Claire. That probably is a big enough clue but if I told you the other single it would be a dead give away. The band supposedly had their farewell tour last summer but they have already done a festival a couple of weeks ago in Cali, Darker Wave and have added 5 dates in April at the Venitian in Vegas. Today's song is my second favourite from the band, the first being 52 girls. That has to be a big hint, 52. The band is The B-52s and the song is Dance This Mess Around. By the way, the other single on the album was ...... Rock Lobster. A rock tied to put-in and tossing him into the meat grinder would be nice. Crazy live version from 80 below.
