Today's song of the day is from 83 from this German singer's self titled album.  The English version was released in 84.  The German version is better.  The German version is called 99 Luftballons.  The English version is called 99 Red Balloons.  The singer is Nena.  Maybe 99 balloons can take put-in to the meat grinder.

Today's pic of the day comes from  January 27 of this year on our trip back home from Flo Rida.  Gotta love Bucee.  Especially the yanks 2nd amendment.  I am sure the founders had the same type of assault rifles too.

Today's song is from a Reno Nevada punk band.  It was released in 85 and is a cover of  an 83 song from a German band.  The cover version was produced by Minor Threat's singer Ian MacKaye and mixed by Bad Religion's guitarist Brett Gurewitz.   The song is 99 Red Balloons and the band is 7 Seconds covering Nena's 99 Luftballons.  I wish put-in was lifted away by the Chinese spy balloon.  I have given you two live performances of 7 Seconds.  One from 94 and then one from 22.  Kevin Seconds still sounds great.
