Here is my solution from yesterday's The Math Contest.  It was an interesting question.

No goals last night on Timmies.  Here are mine for tonight.

Today's song is from 1980 from a one hit wonder band from England.  The song was used on SCTV and song by Rick Moranis as a lounge singer Tom Monroe.  The lead singer says the song is about teen angst but I have always thought it was about masturbation.  There is an oriental guitar riff.  The song is by the Vapors and the song is Turning Japanese.   I have posted both Vapors and Rick Moranis's versions below.  Have a great long weekend if you are having one.  Fuck putin,  putin khyulo.

The song of the day is a punk song from a British band is 77.  The bass player was a female named Gaye Advert.  The band played at the Roxy quite a bit and opened for Gen X.  They even played on the BBC's Top of The Pops.  The song is about someone that receives an eye transplant from a killer that has donated his body to science.  Do you know who it is?  It is the Adverts with Gary Gilmore's Eyes.  Gilmore was executed for a double murder and donated his body to science saying the only thing that will be good will be his eyes.   Thus the song.  Sorry for forgetting to post the video yesterday until late.  Senior moment.  Oh yeah, fuck putin.  Fuck russia.
