Today's song of the day is from a live show in San Francisco in 22.  The tour opened in Vancouver and then Seattle.  Wanted to use the Vancouver show but the sound was not that good on the vid.  You know the main band from Mr Brightside and the opening artist that joined this band from his days as the guitarist from The Smiths.  Johnny Marr opened for The Killers and did a few songs with them from The Smiths.  Here is Stop Me If You Heard This One Before and Mr Brightside.  Don't stop the killers if you hear they are putting put-in in the meatgrinder.

Today's song is a song that the band played last night and I probably scared many old people whilst I "danced".    This Las Vegas band put this song out in 2004 on their debut album, Hot Fuss.  The song is about jealousy the singer felt finding his girlfriend in a bar with another guy.  There are two videos that were made for this song.  One was black and white of the band just playing and the other is based on Moulin Rouge.   I give you both. The band is The Killers and the song is Mr Brightside.  I wish Mr Brightside would be the band's name on put-in.

Here is a pic that my iphone sent me.  It is from Matt's wedding in  2017.  One two at OFSAA in the steeplechase back in 2003.  It was a joy coaching both gentlemen.  They have turned out to be good husbands and fathers.  I am proud of both of them.

 Results from that race.  I did not know Rich Garton was in that race.  He married Hannah that I also coached steeple.  Too bad for her OFSAA did not introduce girls steeple until after she graduated but she did win the Canadian Jr Steeple.

Today's song of the day is from the year the boys above medaled at OFSAA on this band's debut album and debut single.  The album was called Hot Fuss.  There are two versions of the video.  The black and white version called the UK version and a second release that was more mainstream for the US audience.   I will include both below.  You can thank me later.   The song is based on a true story of one of the band members finding his girlfriend in a bar in Vegas cheating on him.  The band is The Killers and the song is Mr. Brightside.  Mr. Brightside is not putin.  Fuck putin.
