Here is today's The Math Contest question of the day.

Well what a week.  A clean sweep of the question of the day and Monday's question of the week I was second.  The best I have ever done is top 5 on 4 days.  Five top 5 with 4 number ones was amazing.  All questions were in my wheel house.  Hopefully I race as fast tomorrow.  Yeah right.

Today's song comes from a ska punk band out of La La land Cali for 2016.  The song is the second track off their second album Say It Loud.  I love Aimee's voice.  It reminds me of  Brody Dalle's voice from The Distillers, another La La band even though Brody is from Down Under.  Fun fact, besides Aimee the band has three brothers in the band.  The band is The Interrupters and the song is She Got Arrested.  Hopefully putin gets arrested.  Below is the lp version and a live version from Tokyo 2021.

Today's song of the day comes from 1981 from a British punk band.  Today's song is the B side of the group's debut 7 inch.  The song supposedly came about when the band heard two dudes trying to out do each other with embellished stories.  The band took this idea and ran with it.  The police actually raided and seized the records under an obscenity act as the song has the word cock and cunt in it and much more.  Metallica covered the song as the B side of  Sad But True in 91.  The band is Anti-Nowhere League and the song is So What.  I have included included the Metallica live version from The Cunning Stunts concert from Fort Worth Texas from 97.  The song has just a huge intro and starts around 2:45 and remember fuck putin.

Today's song of the day comes from 1978 from a punk band from Belfast North Ireland.  The band formed in 77 during the height of  The Northern Ireland Conflict aka The Troubles.  The song I am picking is from the band's first single and is the B-side.  It is a pretty powerful song when put in context of the time.  The band is usually known by SLF which is short for Stiff Little Fingers and the song is Wasted Life.  I am giving you the album version first and then a rare 79 live concert video of the song.  You know who has a wasted life?  putin.
