Here is today's The Math Contest question of the day.

I had the answer fairly quickly but did a couple more checks to make sure.  Probably cost me top 10 but I did not want to go to the box.

Here is my solution to yesterday's The Math Contest question of the day.   I just looked at it and knew 2 gave an integer for the log and the rest worked out.  Done.  But in general this is how you should solve it.

Today's song comes from right field for me but I heard it and thought I would use it anyways.  My wife might like it better than yesterday's song.  Lol.  The song came out in 77.  It has the same name as the album.  It comes from a Chicago band.  The band is named after the Greek mythical river that divides Earth from the Underworld.  Yep it is Styx.  The song and album are Grand Illusion.  put-in is having an illusion.  Thought I would give you a live version with a nice intro.
