Today's Song of the Day is from a UK band from 1990 off the album Schubert Dip.  The band sampled Andrew Dice Clay in the song.  The bands name is said to mean Energetic Mother Fuckers but I believe means Epsom Mad Funkers.    Their music was in the same genre as Jesus Jones and Pop Will Eat Itself as a rave/Indie/Dance crossover band.  The band is EMF and the song is Unbelievable.  It is about how unbelievably stupid putin is so fuck putin.  Or maybe it is about how unbelievably trumpanzees are that watch fucker carlson on Fux News. Fuck them too.

They opened for The Beastie Boys on their Licensed To Ill tour.   In the music video for the s.o.t.d. a nuclear explosion is brought to us when Death takes off his mask.   The band is Fishbone and the song is Party at Ground Zero.  With the asshole putin saying that nukes are not off the table this song is apropos. Skunked on Tim's last night.  Here are my picks for tonight.


I got the idea for this song whilst listening to Spotify at my buddy Glen's house in The US and A on the weekend as the we did not need to test for the vid on the way back.  The song is by a British group from 83.  The song was a dance song in the clubs and lots of break dancers used this song (read up on it if you do not know what break dancing is) and hit number one on the US and A charts.  Lots of sampling in it.  The song is used in the game Grand Theft Auto V.  The band put out several versions which they denote by Diversion.  You may be familiar with their own cover of Peter Gunn.  The band is Art of Noise and the song is Beat Box.

This song came out in 1994.  It's lead singer Nina Gordon said it was about female animal instincts or bouts of rage.  The band is originally from Chicago in the US and A.  The video is full of cats.  The band's name comes from the spoiled brat character in Charlie and The Chocolate Factory.  Does that help?  The band is Veruca Salt and the song is Seether.

From The Math Contest the problem of the week.


You know I got this one.  Was grocery shopping so I missed the drop but still got it.

Here is my solution to last weeks problem of the week.  I didn't post it until today as the question is still live for a week.

Forgot to post my Tim's Picks until late but here they are.  Got two goals yesterday.


Welcome to the work week, not for me.  So The Clash have to be in my top 5 bands all time.  RIP Joe Strummer.  It is hard to believe it has almost been 20 years. Do you know Strummer was born in Turkey as the son of a British diplomat?   Anyways I love Clamp Down, White Riot and London Calling amongst others.   They were a great band in the late 70s.  Even topical with Rock The Cabah with the shyt that happened back in Syria.  Which is a lead in to russia being there and t-rump leaving.  Oh yeah US and A left.  Ask the Kurds.  Today I heard an amazing cover of London Calling called Kyiv Calling by Beton.  It was so great I cried.
